FOLKLORE FESTIVAL 2016

Folklore Festival 2016 started in an uninspiring foggy and wet way.

But someone obviously has friends in higher places as by mid afternoon the weather cleared and as time passed even the sun made an appearance giving the organizers and festival goers the day they deserved.

Unfortunately by then the weather had done its damage with the early day fog stopping a couple of acts from landing at the airport. This left the Festival organizers with a problem.

But every cloud (or fog bank) has a silver lining as the troubles gave Buffalo Huddleston the chance to fill the slot that one of the missing bands had left. Having opened Folklore in the heavy drizzle to a small number of die-hard fans Buffalo Huddleston went down a storm when they played again... this time to the masses.

You could even say that the Guernsey band came to the rescue of Jersey's festival! Well we're all Channel Islanders at the end of the day. It was the least they could do :-)
