BEECHY COLCLOUGH
Beechy Colclough, a name that has been associated closely with the music heritage of the Fermain Tavern, returned to the stage in March 2011 with his classy band and he entertained a good crowd of followers.
Beechy featured on the Guernsey scene for a number of years before leaving the Island. People of my age probably regard that period as the 'Golden Age'... oh, bring back our youth!
Well, for a short time on Saturday we could share some time with this charismatic performer who was so well connected in the music industry he was once able to give Elton John a call and get him to appear on stage at this 'out of the way' local pub venue. Surely the thing of legends!
