A cracking day photographing the Jersey Rounds of the British Hillclimb Championships...

I popped over to the other isle on Tuesday to cover the Jersey rounds of the 2026 British National Hillclimb Championships.

The event was affected by the difficult timings of the ferry service, both the link from the mainland and the lack of inter-island services.
This problem was there for all to see in the Bouley Bay pit area where several of the usual 'top tier' competitors were absent.

So there wasn't the usual dynamic to the competition. Hopefully, given a year to sort things out, we will see a return to 'normality' in twelve months time.

The silver lining is that I understand the entry for the Guernsey Rounds is more like normal!
