Amidst the devastation a track emerged.....

Amidst the scene of utter devastation the Guernsey Velo Club held ROUND 2 of the 2026 Ian Brown's MTB Cross Country Series on Sunday morning.

The storm force winds a few weeks ago have transformed the Guet leaving huge pine trees scattered as if a bomb had felled them.

A sad scene but one that the GVC took advantage of by building a challenging track around the obstacles.
