An important win for Guernsey FC.... with help from supporters!

Sunday's GFC game against Southall FC was always going to be important as our local side fights off relegation.

However I wasn't expecting such a strong and passionate performance from GFC. The guys were fired up and hungry for a win.... which they got!

The supporters were also really keen to play a part with their loud and vocal chanting. It was the first time that the new Victoria Park has really come to life.

I'm sure that the smaller (compared to Footes Lane) ground is making the spectators feel a real part of the game and they are learning that they can play a big part in the results!

This is a real positive.... may the force be behind GFC!
