Motocross riders like it wet and slippery.....

If there is any truth to the rumour that Motocross riders like to get their fun when it is wet and slippery then today must have been a bit special!

The heavy rainfall that heralded the change to the autumnal season meant that the dusty conditions of earlier races where a distant memory.

However for the race day there was a clear sky and quite a nice warmth to the sun that when combined with a gentle wind meant it was very pleasant standing at the side of the track taking pics.

There is no way though that I could be convinced that it was fun out there on a bike! Certain corners were simply churned, liquid mud... it was axle deep as well!

But of course this is all part of the sport and it can make for a few dramatic pics :-)
