THE BRITISH SAND ACE CHAMPIONSHIP 2013
There was great disappointment when the 2013 Condor Ferries British Sand Ace Championships had to be abandoned after two Solo riders (after separate accidents) needed to be taken to hospital and a third Ambulance and Paramedic couldn't attend the race meeting before the incoming tide reclaimed the beach.
The general view in the pits was of understanding that these things can happen in Motorsport and it was clear from chatting to the racers that they had loved the beach racing up to that point. Hopefully 2014 will offer a full program of high quality racing.
My pics also suffered from the dull, windy and showery conditions... but it was still great fun capturing the action!
