The Green Lions like to keep us waiting....

Well Guernsey FC certainly kept us waiting for the win when they hosted Lancing FC in the final throes of the Southern Combination Premier Division at Victoria Park!

The game finished with a strong score-line of 3-0. But as so often is the case this didn't tell the full story.

Whilst the Green Lions looked the more inventive side for most of the play it required two inspired substitution's with a quarter of an hour left on the clock to record the win!

GFC now have a home game to look forward to in the play-offs.
