THE GUARDIAN - GUERNSEY CHIEF MINISTER
Guernsey's Chief Minister, Jonathon Le Tocq, made National news in Feb 2016 when he was quoted as saying that there were a number of reasons for the decision not to accept refugees, including a lack of infrastructure and support services to help them, as well as Islamophobia within the island.
The suggestion that some Guernseymen were Islamophobic upset many locals and National media quickly took up the story.
I was contact by the Guardian Newspaper's Picture Desk and was asked to accompany a journalist when he visited the Island to interview the Chief Minister and locals for a follow up report.
These are a few of the pics taken to support the report and interviews.
