THE INTERNATIONAL SAND ACE CHAMPIONSHIPS 2019
After missing last year the Condor Ferries International Sand Ace ACU British Championships returned to Vazon Bay on 28th September 2019.
There were doubts about whether the high winds would jeopardize the event as competitors were all arriving on the ferries. However the racing gods were on our side and together with Condor Ferries adjusting their schedules most of the Sand Ace entry made it across.
On the morning of the race there was still a stiff breeze but it was quite mild and dry and both the Solo sliders and the right-hand Sidecar outfits put on an impressive spectacle of speed and close racing.
