The ups and downs of our Guernsey sides....

It's been a busy weekend of action photography.

I started with two rugby games featuring both the Mens and Ladies Guernsey Raiders.

The first gallery online features the Mens Raiders team playing Hertford. The teams were evenly balanced for the first 60 minutes but it was the Guernsey side who dug deeper and showed greater desire to win. They turned around a 0-5 score into a 14-8 win. The result keeps the Raiders at the top of the league.

Photographing Sunday's football game was less rewarding and was as frustrating for me as it must have been for the spectators and the GFC coaches.

GFC failed to show their best form and visiting side Phoenix Sports probably deserved their 1-2 win. Hopefully the Guernsey squad will soon return to full strength after suffering from several injuries. We keep our fingers crossed.
